Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
No. You never pay Home Energy Quotes or Lead Magnet Group anything. Installers pay Lead Magnet Group a fee to receive enquiries, which is how the service is funded.
Who will contact me?
We will, by phone, SMS or email, to talk through your request. After that, only installers that have been approved to receive enquiries may contact you, and no more than three for each request. Each one tells you who they are when they get in touch. Your details are not shared with anyone else, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@homeenergyquotes.co.uk.
Are the installers certified?
Approval includes checking the certifications the relevant schemes require, but you should still ask any installer for their certification details and check them on the scheme’s register before you sign anything. Grants such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme are only paid when the installer holds the certification the scheme requires.
Do I have to accept a quote?
No. There is no obligation at any stage, and you can compare the quotes you receive against our cost guides before deciding.
What if no installer covers my area yet?
Coverage is growing region by region. If no approved installer currently covers your postcode, we may not be able to pass your request on straight away. Your request is held for up to 24 months, as our privacy policy explains, and you can withdraw it at any time.
