Installers pay for enquiries, clearly disclosed
When you request a free quote or check your grant eligibility, your details go to Lead Magnet Group Ltd, a company under common ownership with Home Energy Quotes Ltd, which passes them to up to three approved installers who cover your area. Those installers pay Lead Magnet Group a fee to receive your enquiry. You never pay us or Lead Magnet Group anything, any quote you receive is the installer’s own, and you are under no obligation to accept it.
That fee never changes what our guides say. Installers cannot pay to alter a cost figure, a ranking or a recommendation, and no installer is listed or promoted on this site. Our privacy policy explains exactly what is shared, with whom and for how long, and how to withdraw your consent.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal data, and your details go only to the installers described in the consent box on the form.
- We never accept payment for editorial coverage or altered figures.
- We never charge homeowners for using the site, the tools or the quote service.
- We never run advertising or affiliate links.

Cost ranges, savings estimates and grant information are compiled from publicly available sources, including the Energy Saving Trust and GOV.UK, plus regional pricing research. Figures are estimates, not quotes, and are clearly labelled as such — see our editorial standards for how we keep them honest.
